Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two Review (PS3)

Many know Disney by its romantic or adventurous and beautifully animated shows and movies for children and adult alike. But not many know about the sequel to the Disney’s Nintendo Wii action/adventure game Epic Mickey; Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two.

Mickey is back in Cartoon Wasteland but this time he is on all platforms including Mac OS X for those who prefer computer gaming. He is accompanied by Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, familiar face Gremlin Gus and of course the Mad Doctor who has a change of heart, compete with very well done voice acting deserving of an award.

Instead of battling against the Shadow Blot you have to figure out where these sudden earthquakes are coming from and how to stop them along with many other mysteries and few gasp here and there. Along with the new missions and mysteries to unlock, Epic Mickey 2 has catchy musical scores and not bad ones at that. But rather well done ones with nice vocals.

Of course in true Epic Mickey fashion, you have to pick a side you want to be on, the good side or the bad side before anything else. I would delve deeper into this beautiful game that anyone –gamer or not– would love but I would spoil the plot.

So, if you already have played Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, how did you like it? What did and didn’t you like about it?

Thanks for reading.
