So much can be said about the four emcees that make up eMC (Masta Ace, Wordsworth, Punchline, and Stricklin), but all of which can be learned from listening to The Turning Point EP and more so from listening to their 2008 debut LP The Show. The Turning Point is of course shorter and with heartier skits, but within the songs, the lyrical gifts remain just as charitable as before. The main draw of this EP are the fine lyrical structures and well pieced together flows. The gang seem not to have many dire messages, game changing styles or revolutionary beats, but what they are famous for, good rhyming and perfect delivery and execution, are present and apparent. While another full length studio album would probably have been more impressive, The Turning Point is without doubt a good hip hop EP.
