Elgin Meijer hosts Dr. Seuss event

Elgin Meijer celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday by holding a "Dr Seuss Reading Event" for children between the ages of two through eight on Saturday where five Dr. Seuss books were read to them and children could do crafts.

About 25 children were in attendance of this event along with their parents. Meijer offered Dr. Seuss books at 50 percent off and this is still ongoing until February 27.

"Everyone seemed happy," said Scott Hacker, Team Leader. "I think they were excited.
