The book Edward Tulane was the book that my children's school chose for March reading month. The book was excellent a little too much for children in lower grades, but we read it anyway. Our family read the book together, and discussed the issues that came up that were a little questionable for young minds. The main character is an elegant china rabbit named Edward Tulane. He is a special rabbit because he has on exquisite clothing a suit to be precise. He can think and he thinks he is real even if no one else notices. His owner a little girl who loves him to pieces, but Edward doesn't appreciate her kindness. The book takes Edward on a journey that gives him a new respect for his original owner. It is definitely a fun book to read young or old. Happy Reading!
