Initial lighting taste - Dry woody cedar and pepper spice.
First third - Pepper spice followed by cedar with a sweet Earthiness emerging about halfway through the first third.
Second third - The Peppery spice settles down to just a spiciness along with the Earthiness, cedar and caramel notes.
Last third - Spice continues, Earth, cedar wood and sweet caramel notes. Long smooth finish of spice and Earth.
Construction - Coarse, dry textured brown wrapper with dark brown blotches. A sloppy looking cap.
Burn - Burn was uneven with a dark-gray colored, flaky ash that did hold on for over an inch at a time.
Draw - Perfect draw with plenty of smoke produced.
Another very good cigar by E.P. Carrillo with very good complexity and superb balance and smoothness. Although this is not my favorite cigar by them, it is nonetheless a very solid and worthy addition to their lines. MSRP is $6.45 for this size which is an excellent value for this cigar. I would recommend this cigar
