With 'Warehouse 13' coming to a close, it's only logical that there would be a complete collection released.

Let's see if it is worthwhile.

The series follows Agents Pete Lattimer (Eddie McClintock) and Myka Bering (Joanne Kelly) as they retrieve magical artifacts from around the world and bring them back to the remote Warehouse 13. They operate under the guidance of Artie (Saul Rubinek), a man with encyclopedic knowledge of artifacts.

Over the course of the years, new figures emerge for the gang as do challenges that threaten to endanger not only the warehouse, but the world.

On one hand, for newbies, it is convenient to buy this collection and have all five seasons together.

On the other hand, this box set is literally the five releases (seasons) of the show thrown into a bulky package. You get the exact same discs and features as you would buying the seasons individually and, strangely enough, buying the seasons on their own is the cheaper alternative. That could change in time, but at the time of their release, that holds true.

There isn't much to say about this collection that can't be said about the show in general. The quality of the show is beyond criticism. It is the best original anything that the Sy Fy Channel has given us. Combining just the right amounts of suspense, science fiction action and comedy made for one of the most consistently watchable shows in recent memory.

Perhaps more importantly than the stories themselves are the characters. There was a great blend with Pete and Myka being a classic 'opposites' pairing, Artie's neurotic know-it-all leader status, and the ever popular Claudia (Allison Scagliotti) (along with a few other faces throughout the series). The interaction between these characters made for

Special features include: Don't do this to me. There are dozens upon dozens of special features.

If you are new to 'Warehouse 13' this complete collection might eventually come down in price enough to be a decent value.

With the show's excellence being fully represented by all of the episodes and features, it is hard to give this collection a less than glowing review, cost aside.

Caveat emptor.
