In a 7th season of Desperate Housewives, a new woman comes to town that helps cause a stir on Wisteria Lane, as Vanessa Williams joins the cast, along with 90210 alum Brian Austin Green. While most shows at this point suffer from a weaker show, Desperate Housewives instead rises to it’s critics and tries it’s best to deliver the show that everyone loves. While the ratings for the show didn’t seem to share this opinion, for any Housewives fan that’s on the fence, the extras for the set are pretty darn neat; in particular the deleted scenes and bloopers and outtakes reel that featured herein.

The DVDs themselves are pretty good, featuring Dolby Digital Stereo, and the digital transfer itself is also pretty good. The DVDs, like the show, are shot and screened in Widescreen (1.78:1) – Enhanced for HD Television, and features Spanish and French subtitles. The only thing missing from this collection would be more in-depth interviews with those behind the scenes or perhaps, a commentary from the showrunners to gain more into the show. Also: considering the show is shown in widescreen and HD, while no copy was made available for Blu-Ray, it is a shame that blu-ray is not available for Desperate Housewives, as the show would have benefited greatly from it.
