'Drawing With Mark: Something Fishy And A Day At The Aquarium'

Mark Marderosian once again is going to show us how to draw something. This time it has to do with the sea. In 'Something Fishy' marks teaches us how to draw a sea star and a school of fish. To do so, he takes us on a field trip to the Woods Hole Science Aquarium. We are able to see the creatures up close and personal and we are told how they live and more. Mark always covers what we are drawing by teaching us everything we need to know about it. He also uses a circle, a triangle, and a square to teach us about what shapes are.

In 'A Day at the Aquarium' Mark takes us back to the Aquarium and teaches us about a sea turtle and a Seal. They are so cute to look at. Now back in his attic he shows us how to draw our creatures by once again using our shapes.

Mark has been at this for about 25 years and has worked with Walt Disney Productions, Universal Theme Parks, and Hasbro Toys. He is a joy to watch and to learn how to draw from. As a former teacher I have seen many a program such as these but I can say that to include the visual of going on a field trip helps to show the budding artist how to properly create.

I have found that many a time a child would come into a kindergarten class and would have no idea as to what I was trying to get them to do. They had no pre-school or parental help in getting them prepared for school. Now with Mark Marderosian you can sit down with your child and work with them together by letting Mark do most of the work. This is a must have DVD for any parent or grandparent.

'Drawing with Mark' is brought to us by Shelter Island and the quality of the DVD is at its very best. The sound and visual are the of the highest quality and easy to understand.

On March 11, 2014 you need to go out and pick up this DVD for your Library. So you can get your children ready for school and all that comes with it. Enjoy.
