Dolph Lundgren's Joshua Tree comes to Blu-Ray

With the Expendables series being such a big hit, it comes as no surprise that a lot of the stars are not only getting resurgence, but we’re finally seeing some of their older films being re-released. Originally released in 1993 as Army of One, Shout Factory is finally bringing the Dolph Lundgren action film Joshua Tree to Blu-ray DVD combo pack.

The film follows an exotic car runner played by Lundgren who goes gunning for his money and running for his life from a ruthless killer. As if that wasn’t bad enough, he is carrying along a beautiful hostage and racing across six thousand square miles of sand against dozens of turbo charged cars. This is a pretty straight forward action movie of the 90’s. The plot is pretty simple and moves forward at a decent pace, but has numerous unnecessary moments sprinkled throughout. It’s always fun to see Lundgren deliver in his own unique way and here is no different. The film doesn’t deliver near as much action as you would normally expect from one of his movies, but more than makes up for it during the second half of the film.

If you are were around during this time of the great action film then you will most likely want to add this to your collection. This special edition features commentaries, interviews, trailer, and an alternate ending making this a must have for any fan of Lundgren.

Make sure to get out and pick up a copy when Shout Factory unleashes high octane action with Joshua Tree when it hits stores on February 26.
