That is how Dogfish Head describes its Indian Brown Ale 7.2%abv. It pours a dark brown with a cream colored head, perhaps its brown ale component. Aromas of Espresso, dark chocolate, roasted malt and floral hops come into play, more brown ale and the IPA kicking in. The assertive hops blend in with dark malt, espresso and dark cocoa into a long floral hoppy finish, the Scotch ale mixing in with the brown ale and IPA. Another great beer from the guys in Delaware, they are never afraid to push boundaries and try new things.
