Courtney Loves Dallas premiered last night on Bravo, the spin-off to 2011's Most Eligible Dallas which followed a beautiful young group of twenty/thirty something socialites living it up in the big D. Courtney Kerr, the fan favorite and stylish brunette beauty instantly became the star of the series, so getting her own show is no surprise.
Since Most Eligible Dallas ended, Courtney quit her stable job in the corporate world to pursue her love of fashion. She started her own blog, “What Courtney Wore” and is a host on D: The Broadcast, a morning show that covers topics such as dating, pop culture and current events. Her confident, sexy fashion sense and impeccable taste pairing outfits together has top-notch designers intrigued. They send Courtney their collections to wear and blog about. Since the Southern belle has an impressive following on social media outlets, designers give Court a commission of the products sold. She's like a walking advertisement for them. Not a bad gig, huh?
Courtney Loves Dallas follows the brilliant fashionista as she navigates through the Dallas social scene with an exploding career and desire to find love. She's got a huge heart and truly wants to experience that fairy-tale love story. Big hair, amazing clothes, beautiful people and a down-to-earth woman as the central focus; what's not to love? She's a comic gem that makes it hard to look away from the screen when she's talking. Courtney may love Dallas right now, but I have a feeling she'll be loving a whole lot more that cities like LA and New York have to offer.
Thursday's @ 9:00 PM Central on Bravo.
