Digital Summer brought the heat to Casper, Wy (Photos)

Digital Summer recently made a stop here in Casper on January 24, 2013 to thaw their bones and play at the Hall of Champions with Candlelight Red & Nonpoint. If you were there you witnessed a fantastic show. Once a couple of technical issues were cleared up and the table in front of the stage was tested by Kyle for sturdiness, these guys were loud and proud from beginning to end. The band is gaining momentum with this tour and the guys appreciate all of the new fans, along with the tried and true that have been coming out to see them. Playing favorites like “Broken Halo” & “Forget You” these guys give you their all.

If you make it out to one of their shows, make sure to get as close as you can; you could be a DS camera operator! They really know how to bring the experience to the extreme by making you a part of the show. No one knows this better than Austin Rios. This 12 year old gained the attention of the DS guys by playing drum covers of Digital Summer songs and posting them to YouTube. When Austin came out to one of their recent shows in Oklahoma, the guys asked him if he wanted to come up and play and who would say no to that?! Now Austin is living the dream touring with the guys and pounding out amazing performances like the big boys. Keep your eyes on this young man; he has a bright future ahead of him.

Jon "Bubba" Stephenson, on guitar, really loves his job, smiling through the entire show, he is great to watch. Anthony “Guido” Hernandez, on bass, is amazing he really brings out his all for these smaller venues. Justin Pacy, on drums, makes some of the BEST drummer faces you will ever see and never misses a beat while his every emotion plays out on his face. Ian Winterstein, on guitar, and brother Kyle, on lead vocals, round out this pentagon of power. This road weary crew left it all out on the stage and Casper responded in kind.

It’s great to see a group of guys that REALLY enjoy what they are doing and care that their fans have an amazing experience. Kyle, Ian, Guido, Jon and Justin all came out to the Merch table after their show to take the time to meet the fans, sign autographs and take pictures. Get out to a show and hang with this great group of guys, it will be money and time well spent.

Digital Summer is currently on tour with Candlelight Red and Nonpoint. They can be reached through the usual social media outlets including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and on their webpage at www.digitalsummer.net .
