Diana’s Tours is on its 15 year. It is easy to see why the weekly gay Puerto Vallarta boat cruise sells out even during the low season.

The tour is one of those must-do attractions for any LGBT visitor to Puerto Vallarta. In testament to the quality of the experience, most of Diana’s business comes from repeat visitors, many who take the tour every time they visit PV.

Diana’s Tour runs every Thursday. She sometimes has to run extra boats on Wednesdays and Fridays to accommodate the demand when the Thursday boat sells out.

What can you expect on the tour?

It leaves from the gay neighborhood on the pier at Los Muertos Beach at 9:30 am. The service on-board the boats is unmatched. Your cup will not go empty without someone coming by offering a refill.

After a continental breakfast of fruit and pastries, the first stop is the landmark Los Arcos, cavernous rocks that you can snorkel through as you watch beautiful tropical fish swim by. The colorful fish are a living art show and the water is so clear that you don’t have to wear a face mask to see them.

The next stop is a private beach where you can enjoy a game of volleyball in the water of just relax on the beach. Diana’s staff brings the bar to the beach and you can get the experience of enjoying the water without being bothered by the omnipresent beach vendors in the public beach.

After that, Diana’s makes the final stop at a beach-side restaurant where you can get your pre-ordered meal. She takes your order on-board and calls ahead to the restaurant, so you won’t have to wait long before the order is served up.

But wait, there’s more, after the cruise returns to Los Muertos beach, you can continue hanging with your new best friends at the Blue Chairs Hotel bar. All Diana’s cruise customers get a free drink coupon.

All along the cruise route, Diana and her crew play some great party music, so you can socialize with your fellow guests or just relax and enjoy listening.

But probably the best part of the trip is meeting new friends in a beautiful environment. The cruise is mostly gay male, but is very lesbian and straight friendly. Everyone is made to feel very welcome on-board, which is why many people return every time they visit PV.

The driving force behind Diana’s Tours is Diane DeCoste, a French-Canadian gay woman who is known for her laugh and maintaining a family friendly atmosphere onboard.
