Depeche Mode played in Dallas, Texas on September 20 at the Gexa Energy Pavilion on their current U.S. tour. Dave Gahan, Martin Gore and Andy Fletcher entertained their fans with a variety of their greatest hits and new songs from the album 'Delta Machine.' Examiner was there and took some exclusive photos. DM will be performing in Austin twice next month during both weekends of the Austin City Limits Music Festival on October 4 and 11.
The set list included the songs "Welcome to My World," "Angel," "Walking in My Shoes," "Precious," "Black Celebration," "Policy of Truth," "Should Be Higher," "Barrel of a Gun," "When the Body Speaks" sung by Martin Gore, "But Not Tonight" acoustic sung by Martin Gore, "Heaven," "Soothe My Soul,""A Pain That I'm Used To," "A Question of Time" and 'Violator' era singles "Enjoy the Silence" and "Personal Jesus." The encores were "Home," "Halo," "Just Can't Get Enough," "I Feel You" and "Never Let Me Down Again."
Depeche Mode's upcoming tour dates are September 24 in Santa Barbara, CA, September 26 in Mountain View, CA at the Shoreline Amphitheatre and September 28, 29 and October 2 in Los Angeles at the Staples Center. On October 6, DM is performing at the Pearl Concert Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada and on October 8 they are playing in Phoenix, AZ at the Ak-Chin Pavilion. After their U.S. tour, Depeche Mode are extensively touring Europe.
