There was no shortage of Lilly Pulitzer inspired frocks during Delray’s Fashion week runway show which took place just outside the famous historical Colony Hotel. Hundreds of locals as well as CEO of Miami Fashion Network, Jessica Anderson, gathered to take in the latest from local designers with support from the city’s downtown development authority, boutique owners and radio personality, Chris Cruz presented the show featuring swimwear, resort and evening wear. The focus was on local designers like: Jule Guaglardi from Roxylulu boutique, designer Stephanie Graniero owner of Oh My Bod, bespoke handbag designer, Ronald Furst. It was the perfect finale to the week of January 11-19, 2014 with daily in-store events and trunkshows from brands like Meira T, Corbin & H. Freeman, Ming Wang. According to mayor, Cary Glickstein the initiative brought lots of revenue to local boutiques and was a huge success.
