The Green Lantern’s greatest rival Sinestro’s new ongoing series continues from creators Cullen Bunn and Dale Eaglesham. The first issue showcased the sinister former leader of the Yellow Lanterns like never before. With issue # 2 Sinestro has returned to re-take control of his Yellow Lanterns, but not without a fight.

From the first page of this issue things have hit the fan as lines are crossed as Sinestro takes on the corps in a fight for leadership. While most issues of any series sports some action, but is usually more story, this one is full on action in almost every page. The vibrant yellows showcasing their use of the rings is a visual treat and one that is sure to please any fan of the series. This issue also serves to showcase the true nature of Sinestro himself through his actions showing that he is back with a vengeance and not looking to take anyone’s crap. When there isjuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhn’t action going on his true plans are being laid out to bring the powerful Yellow Lantern Corps back to their original power and he will stop at nothing to make this happen.

With the previous issue it wasn’t clear of the Sinestro that would be inhabiting this series, but this installment makes it pretty clear that he is back and ready to bring the pain like only he can. This issue sets the tone and direction that is sure to return Sinestro and his Lanterns as a force to be reckoned with in the universe.
