While the news that this comic is coming to an end and then being relaunched still seems arbitrary and driven by the pervasive, even crass, hype-machine that is Marvel today, this issue sets up what promises to be a big finish.
After some meanandering, involving a trip down south, Daredevil is back in NYC, and (finally!) taking action to take down the Sons of the Serpent. He gets some solid backup in the form of his soon-to-be-back-on GF, Kristen. In fact, her speech is why this run of DD has been go good — it's the perfect summation of what Matt Murdock is all about, and of course, a great example of Mark Waid's writing at its best.
Once again, series colorist Javier Rodriquez takes over the penciling chores, and excels — he should be the first choice should regular artist Chris Samnee ever leave the series.
