The Kansas City Jewish community will observe the anniversary of Kristallnacht on November 9, 7:30 at the Jewish Community Campus. The program is sponsored by the Midwest Center for Holocaust Education and the UMKC Conservatory of Music and will feature a multimedia concert entitled "Different Trains." The event is free and open to the public.
Alice, the oldest Holocaust survivor in the world at 106, is an inspiration to all. She survived the Theresienstadt concentration camp and discusses how she and others carried on their artistic endeavors under horrific conditions.
