On Jan. 21, country songstress Maggie Rose released her newest single "Looking Back Now" to country radio. It was penned by songwriter Lisa Carver and it is the third radio single from her debut studio album "Cut To Impress," which was produced by Blake Chancey and James Stroud. Her CD features her previous singles "I Ain't Your Mama," as well as "Better," both of which reached the Top 30 on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts.
"Looking Back Now" is quite a dynamic vocal performance by Rose. She has a lot of guts and is not afraid to say things as they are. She showcases a great deal of versatility. Hopefully country radio will embrace the tune since it deserves to become a big hit for the country powerhouse vocalist. It garners an A- rating.
Rose is a native of Potomac, Maryland. She has opened for country star Gary Allan and Sheryl Crow on the 'Free and Easy' tour.
