Seriously, I checked out six rooms in the Coral Towers and only one (1) did not have major maintenance issues... When I am on vacation, I do NOT want to be having to repeatedly go down to the front desk to get someone to fix issues with my room.
You are probably thinking, why didn't I call.... hmmmmmm...because you would call and they would put you off until they got off shift and then you would have to start with someone new.
The grounds of the resort are beautiful, the hotel rooms are the issue. When you are paying as much as a five star hotel rate and getting rooms that are lower than a motel quality, that is an issue.
On my first whole day there, I spent most of it trying to get my room situation fixed. In the end, we gave up and settled for a room that still had issues (the closet doors did not open!), but at least we were able to check our bill on the TV (several other of the rooms we checked, this was broken on!).
My advise to you, stay in the Cove at Atlantis, or stay next door at the Comfort Inn....It is literally just next door to the Coral Towers. The Coral Towers needs just basic maintenance that is not being done!
