Who says that learning can’t be fun? At the ExpERIEnce Children’s Museum of Erie, http://www.eriechildrensmuseum.org/ having fun while discovering new things is the goal. Now celebrating its sixteenth year, the museum continues to grow and has introduced many exciting exhibits and events for kids of all ages!
ExpERIEnce exhibits such as Aerodynamics, the Lordton Model Train exhibit, and the “History, Mystery and Magic of Magnets”. But don’t forget the museums favorites which include The Water Table, Bedrock Cave and Kid’s Corner Store.
Perhaps the most beloved of all of the museum’s exhibits however, is The Bubble! This fantastic exhibit which was redesigned this year by students from Penn State Behrend, http://news.psu.edu/story/281795/2013/07/15/student-success/square-bubbl... will actually allow your child to experience life from inside a giant square bubble that they make themselves!
Hours of operation for the museum are;
Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 A.M to 4:00 P.M and
Sunday from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
While the museum is conveniently located to nearby restaurants, visitors who wish to spend the day are advised to bring their own lunch and snacks. A break area with tables is available.
Entrance into the museum costs $6 for persons age 2 and older. Memberships and group rates are available.
