Lost Voyage, by Chris Tucker

Lost Voyage is an exciting debut novel by Colorado author, Chris Tucker. Fast moving, with lots of action, this book is sure to keep the pages turning. What starts out as a simple research expedition in the jungles of Nicaragua for National Environmental Security Agency, (NESA), agents Sean Mercer and Pat Vigil quickly turns into a covert military operation, as they uncover a plot of mass genocide by the tyrannical leader of a merciless cartel and set out to put a stop to it. In their attempts to free the Nicaraguan people from these evil overlords, they uncover the existence of a priceless treasure that's been lost in the jungle for over a century. Bullets fly in all directions in the race to see which side will find the treasure and stay alive to recover it.

With skill, Tucker included everything an adventure novel should be into Lost Voyage. The characters are witty and likeable, seeming all too human. Artfully crafted scenes come to life and jump off the page and the intriguing plot filled with fire fights, prison breaks and dangerous treasure hunting make for fast paced action to keep readers on the edge of their seat in anticipation.
