Well, 2012 Winter is the season that I dedicated to finding the best quality for the best value for my readers. It is my commitment to research and sample the best of the best for the Boomerbabe.
Here’s the scoop:
After purchasing several products from Costco, like the new Strivectin miracle cream (better than Botox-NOT!) I decided to take a visit to one of those beauty supply places. However, this is not the normal discount around the corner supply store. (And certainly not the drugstore stuff.) This time I scored a visit to a place that works with professionals, like Hollywood Makeup Artists and Models. I asked several of the pros what they thought was the best for my boomer-age skin. Here’s the info, straight from the mouths of the go-to-girls that are au courant (in the know.)
Natura Bisse
This is the piece de la resistance for all of you ladies who yearn for that rich, creamy, yet silky smooth potion in a pot of silver. There are so many new creams and treatments that are getting attention and have proven results like stem cells, placenta or secret potions from Europe that you need to smuggle in because they’re not approved here. Those are the greatest, but most of us cannot afford this, since we have to pay our rent/mortgage/kids/grandkids/health insurance first. (LOL)
Natura Bisse was recommended as the fav, and most beauty supply stores in town covet this brand. It is always on the counter near the register with a sample to try out.

The Scoop-Founded in Barcelona in the 1970's with a focus on facial peels, vitamin creams, and sun care. The most talked about is Bisse Inhibit Natura for aging skin.
This anti-aging line targets specific markers of aging skin. Designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, the active ingredient Octamioxyl, is a synthesized molecule. The Tensolift product in the Inhibit line is designed to relax and lift the skin. The Dermafill product in the line is wrinkle filler. It is designed to be an alternative to Botox.
My Experience-So far NOTHING is better than Botox on the retail market….yet! I tried the Diamond for a month or two and was very pleased with the richness, moisture and radiance of my skin. After a few months of checking out cheap imitations, found at Costco, such as Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream, the Diamond was worth the $$$. The truth is that my friends have noticed the difference and commented on my skin texture and glow.

My Experience
Love that Astara Activated Antioxidant Infusion, which seems give the appearance of youth and vitality with the help of a well-kept secret, an orchid that grows in the Andean mountains. The fascinating ingredient lists, highest quality natural ingredients from flowers, fruits and plants, saturating its skincare with potent nutrients. It also helps to have a huge fan club of A-List Celebrities that have used the products, like Jennifer Garner, Julia Roberts or Tina Fey, but even better are the legendary Super Models like Lauren Hutton, Maude Adams.
