Winter has finally arrived in the Grand Valley and local residents are feeling the bitter bite. Two local businesses and the student center of Mesa State College had to temporarily close their doors to make repairs. Ice melt and snow shovel sales have also tripled over the last week with the arrival of freshly fallen snow. With temperatures looking to stay in the single digit and lower this week it appears winter has arrived so stay inside and stay warm Grand Junction were just getting started.
