This show had it all. Rain, lightning, thunder, delays - in fact a 40 minute rain delay. But that did not deter the crowd who sat through it all to witness the beautiful Colbie Caillat and her talented band perform.
Fans were able to take some extra time to stop and smell the roses, gardenias, waterfall displays and everything else that is within the grounds of the beautiful Botanic Gardens. But for the fans that braved the weather and the rain delay - and it was all who showed, it was well worth the wait.
Colbie Caillat brought her Gyspy Heart Tour to the beautiful Botanic Gardens Wednesday night to a sold out crowd. The same Colbie Caillat that Simon Cowell and group told her after her third try with American Idol to give up singing. She never made the cut to perform in front of the television crowd. Good thing she never listened to Simon. Colbie Caillait has sold over six million record and 10 million singles and has proved that she has talent, stage presence and the voice to entertain.
Even though she had to cut her show short the audience did not mind. Due to the rain Colbie Caillat had to cut the performance from 90 minutes to 60 minutes. But no one minded this shortened concert. Her song list started with the first three songs "Live It Up", "Fallin", and "If You Love Me".
The soothing and melodic voice of Colbie Caillat entertained the guest and put on a great performance. Goes to prove that if you are loved and have the great personality that Colbie has, rain or shine, people will sit through whatever to hear her perform.
