For decades freshly brewed, ice cold root beer from tap has been the favorite for many. Here in Oklahoma City, Coit's Root Bear Stand is well known by many. I'll Keep it nice and sweet, like Coit's root beer. The food is good, the prices are just a little high for the quality of food you get, but you definitely get a pretty good portion amount, which is good in my book. They serve great breakfast, good old fashion biscuits and gravy, pancakes and tater tots. For lunch and dinner they have a pretty good selection of burgers, famous hot dogs, and good old chicken fried steak sandwiches. Over all Coit's Root Bear Stand works well if you like good drive in food, you can pull up and order and eat in your car or go dine in. Which ever works best for you, do get there famous root beer, very, very good. If you dine in, you get it in a frosted mug which in my mind is perfect. Coit's Root Beer Stand has three locations across Oklahoma City; N Portland, S Western, and N Pennsylvania ave. All there food is mostly under 10 dollars, so Coit's wont totally punch a hole in your wallet, they have a lot of history here, so they definitely know what there doing, give it a try next time your in any of the three areas, you cant miss them, they have huge yellow signs out front, enjoy!
