Every once in a while, a product comes along that is just so good that it makes you pause for a moment and bask in the glory of an amazing idea come to fruition. This usually happens when form and function blend harmoniously and everything about the product is just right. That’s what is going on with the AmpPlus from myCharge.

As mentioned in the introductory article, myCharge is always improving upon the products they make by making them smaller, lighter, faster, or all three. In the case of the AmpPlus, they accomplished all three. Measuring 2.8 in x 1.4 in x 0.9 in and weighing just 2.5-ounces, the tiny AmpPlus houses a 3000mAh Lithium Ion battery and the componentry to draw maximum power from a power source and deliver that power to whatever device that happens to be connected to it 25% faster than just about anything else out there. It can even charge itself and a device simultaneously.

In a month, or so, of testing, the AmpPlus became my go-to powersource for my phone, cameras, and tablet, with it never failing to either top off or totally revive that to which it was connected. Best of all, whether the AmpPlus was being charged or it was doing the charging, it accomplished both very, very, quickly. It delivers a full charge to my HTC One in less than two hours which is very convenient when things are running on empty.
