We visited this cute place on the recommendation of a friend, and were pleasantly surprised. It's a family run establishment, that does an earnest job competing with all the foodie fads in the area.
Situated on busy Lincoln Blvd., once you get inside, you're ushered into an earthy vibe, braced with a decent wine selection decorating the walls. Specials are illustrated on the blackboard, giving you a wider berth on dining selections.
I had their Eggplant Parmesan, and it was a dense brick of an entree, very flavorful, and filling. Unfortunately, it didn't come with anything else. A small side salad would have made a nice visual impression, and rounded out the meal.
My pal went for their Pumpkin Ravioli, (Ravioli di Zucca, a pumpkin ravioli sauteed with butter & sage, parmesan cheese), flanked with an attractive small salad. She seemed very happy. My other guest opted for the more than ample Prosciutto, coupled with Mozzarella and tomatoes.
I'm excited to try this place for dinner, even though parking in the area leaves lots to be desired. I guess if we get there early, we'd be in luck with the few spaces they have behind the restaurant.
