CeCe Winans ushered in the praise at Victory Cathedral in Bolingbrook, Illinois, where Smokie Norful is Pastor. Now that is a mouthful. Just in case you do not know, Cece and Smokie are phenomenal singers who simply love music because of their relationship with Jesus Christ
Tonight Cece Winans sang from her 2010 album For Always, which is in stores now. Cece's new song is about being present and appreciating Jesus in your worship time spent with him. The beloved song, Alabaster Box 2008 album, which is a song about praising and worshiping what and who you love. For all in attendance, that person is Jesus.
Cece's love for Christ perfected her gift of praise, which is abundant. If you have not heard Cece Winans' music or attended a concert now is the time to do so. Cece will be at the Women of Faith conference October 4, 2013 in Pittsburgh, PA at the Petersen events center. If you missed tonight's performance Cece promises to return soon after Pastor Norful recovers from a doctor ordered 30 rest period.
So, for the next 28 days guest speakers and singers will be celebrating founder's month at Victory Cathedral. Pastor Norful seems to be the real deal. After speaking to a new member of the church who searched five years for a church with a good fit that made learning easy. The new member just completed foundation classes and only had good things to say about Pastor Norful and staff. First hand example is everyone gets a hug upon entering from the greeting staff. Both men and women are ushers, singers, greeters, etc. So, if you are seeking a church home check out Victory Cathedral, 369 N. Weber Road, Bolingbrook, Illinois.
Tonight's guest pastor was Pastor Mont Mitchell, who spoke on people making inadament objects or obsessions their God. It was a powerful and socially conscious message. Pastor Mitchell, greetings with a mighty Lord Jersey.
