It only takes one great song, and whole lotta luck, to lift a group out of obscurity, and Redding based Hollow Ln. may just have it with “Parking Lot Anthem,” from their debut EP. This power pop trio with a sound that is mixture of Incubus, the Police, and Deftones, and their six songs about life in small town northern California, have a future if their “anthem,” gets heard. The Bausell brothers Brandon and Max deftly handle the guitar and bass, with Nick Braun, who recently was signed to the Thumper Drums roster, providing tasty percussion. Let’s hope these “miss guided Romeo’s,” get there shot to fulfill their parking lot dreams.
