Clutch drops a bomb on the public with their latest effort titled "Earth Rocker" (Weathermaker Music). "Earth Rocker" is the follow up release since "Strange Cousins from the West" (2009). "Earth Rocker" is one constant hard rockin' groove after another. Clutch has always been known as being one hard rocking band with the sweet melody lines and crunchy guitars and make no mistake that this release is one in the same wheelhouse.
"Earth Rocker" is a bit mellower than their earlier releases but this is still a heavy CD. Clutch is also known for being a band that the music is extremely tight and precise. "Earth Rocker" seems to be a strong progression in writing, melody lines and hooks. This one seems to captivate all the essence of the band's history and packs it into one disc.
