The reaction from the crowd at this year's 55th Annual Grammy Awards mimicked that of the audience in the Hunger Games movie when Katniss enters wearing a flaming dress. Carrie Underwood, a country singer/songwriter, stole the show with a dress that lit up with scenes, flowers and butterflies.
US Magazine quotes Carrie about performing:
"There's so many big performances at the Grammys, I just like to stand still and sing sometimes. So this was the best way to do that, and it still created something visually attention-capturing and beautiful."
Carrie also told reporters backstage:
"They can do a lot of amazing things with projectors these days. I said I should take that home where we can watch movies on it. … You wanna watch movies on my dress?"
One thing is certain, the ante has definitely been "uped" where fashion is concerned. I give this dress and creativity a very enthusiastic 5 stars. Game on!
