Cantina Tollo wanted to re-create the way it made its Trebbiano. They let native yeasts ferment the wine as an experiment to make wines they were made in the past. Their C’Incanta, Trebbiano, d’Abruzzo, DOP, 2010 was a great success, achieving Tre Bicchieri, the highest ranking in Italy’s wine guide, the Gambero Rosso.
It has a rich golden yellow color in the glass. The aromas highlight citrus and some tropical fruits with plenty of minerals in the background. The palate is very smooth, the flavors mirror the aromas and it is perfectly balances between fruit and acidity.
Enjoy this wine with seafood dishes as well as chicken and turkey breast.
