Another very cool new band and album just released via Victory Records is a band that hails from Calgary. Fall City Fall debuts their unique hardcore sound worldwide with Victus, an eleven-track metalcore blend of emotion, at the ready fists, extreme riffs, and surrounded with just the right mix of melodic power to leave audiences stunned wherever the band plays.
Remaining grounded and united within the local scene; Fall City Fall stands for unison within the local scene and are well known across Canada for their energetic shows that has garnered them quite a loyal fan base. Twin-vocalists and a completely different sound that is more a tempest of fire vs. one low end note beating itself to death, Fall City Fall is a rising star with credits that include opening for The Devil Wears Prada, Enter Shakira, and For Today and also touring with Architects, We Came As Romans, Counterparts, and so many more.
There is little doubt that this is something different as soon as the opening track St. James invades your speakers and the ride never slows down with Dissentipede and Anxiety Attack. It was the almost punk rock sound of Bitter End that found my speakers being pushed to the extreme and kept me there. As soon as you wrap your head around what you have been listening to the serene sounds of Many Lives makes you almost close your eyes and see a world that may just survive; and then Shallow Believers quickly smashes the walls down and the race is back on.
Fall City Fall is indeed new, fresh, and brings rocket fuel to a world running on regular gasoline. Go check them out immediately and find them on social media everywhere as they tour all year in support of the new album.
