Buffalo Bills Mobile App

In a tech world that has gone crazy, there are over 100,000 sports apps available in the iTunes Store. From the terrible and clunky apps like the NHL's Gamecenter app to phenomenal apps like anything Major League Baseball touches, there are good and bad, not matter how large the multimedia company may be.

It's been over six months since the Buffalo Bills released their mobile app for Android, iPhone and iPod Touch, and it is without a doubt one of the best team-specific apps on the market.

For one, the app updates right along with the website. A lot of sports apps that I have come across, especially team-specific apps struggle with timeliness. The Bills app is definitely not in that category and does a great job staying relevant content-wise.

My favorite part of the app is the access to multimedia however. The site is constantly being updated with videos and pictures, whether it be from contract signings, practice reports, or special events, the app is on top of it, and the content is posted as quickly as you'd want it to be.

Everything from the website is literally at your fingertips. Some things do not translate well, like the link to The Bills Store online. The store's mobile site is extremely clunky and maddeningly impossible to navigate on a mobile device.

If you're a Bills fan with an iPhone or an Android device, one of the first apps you need to download is the Buffalo Bills app. I've found 9 times out of 10 it's easier to click on the app then to actually go throguh and click onto the actual Bills website on a PC. That's all you can ask in an app, and the Bills digital media department delivers.
