I had an opportunity to eat at Buddakan in the Old City section of Philadelphia recently. The day I went I got a parking spot right at the front door. From the outside, it doesn't seem like any out of the ordinary place, but open that door and the hype come to life.
From the moment you open the door, you are greeted by the friendly staff and seated. The statue of Buddha is incredible as are the posh surroundings and decor. My server greeted me and directed me towards the menu. I asked for her preferences and she told me that the Asian Caesar Salad was really good. I wasn't disappointed when it arrived to the table. It had warm cashews in it that really made for a different taste. Then I sampled the Edamame Ravioli. Now I have never tried Edamame in a ravioli before, but it was incredible. The broth it was in was delectable and the filling of the ravioli melts in your mouth. I then had the Grilled Lamb Chops which in my opinion are not to be missed. They were grilled to perfection and the taste was phenomenal.
What's great about Buddakan is that no matter the event, whether your'e enjoying a meal with friends, family, clients or even out of town guests, the food can't be beat at Buddakan.
