When BubbleBum came out around the country in Target, this examiner picked up this booster seat to test it out, with three grandchildren clamoring to be the first to test it. According to a poll taken from expert children, they prefer sitting on the Bubblebum booster seat than the other three top different brands sold within stores locally.
They actually fight over who gets to sit in the "good" seat. They noted that it is more comfortable than other seats, or as they put it "Cushie! What this examiner noted was when BubbleBum was sat on that it conformed to your tush unlike conventional booster seats. Conventional booster seats are not made with much cushion, nor are they that comfortable, they are usually just formed hard plastic with about 1 inch of foam on top.
Another plus in the favor of BubbleBum, was the adaptability of the booster to varying degrees of temperatures. BubbleBum's booster seat at 12 degrees F, was still as comfortable as when it was at 77 degrees F. This was a big deal for the children, as normal booster seats at 12 degrees feel like you are sitting on a block of concrete ice. BubbleBum quickly warms up and maintains it flexibility. Standard booster seats do not quickly warm up.
Another plus to BubbleBum is how quick it is to both inflate and deflate for travel. You can easily place this item in your carry on bag, when it is deflated. This examiner noted that it was easily re-inflated with a few breaths for reuse also.
BubbleBum has won both this examiner over, and has plans to replace the rest of the booster seats to .....BubbleBum!
