Brunch Review: Hotel Chantelle winter brunch (Photos)

New York City is full of great places to have brunch on the weekends, from great deals, unlimited drinks and or buffet style. Great neighborhoods also make for a great brunch experience. Nestled in the heart of the Lower East Side, the Hotel Chantelle blends in nicely on Ludlow Street. Known for having great views of the city the Hotel is also becoming known for its bingo night as well as their brunch.

Sitting down on a cold Saturday afternoon, I began to taste what the Hotel Chantelle had to offer for brunch. Up first are the drinks, mimosa, Bellini, bloody mary, mint julep and a drink called South of Delancey. The mimosa, and the South of Delancey I recommend. After trying some drinks we moved to the food, which included, grilled kale, 3 types of crepes, a burger, and blueberry & ricotta pancakes. The pancakes are amazing as well as the warm goat cheese, sweet red onion, and dill crème fraiche crepe. Along with good food, there was a vintage swing band cranking out some good ole tunes inspired by early 20th century jazz music.

Overall the brunch was a good experience, I recommend you get there before 1pm to get a good seat, after that you might expect a bit of a wait. I have included the menu in the image gallery as well as some of the inside and the wonderful drinks.
