Although there are plenty of notable brunch places to try in Astoria, it isn't easy to find one as affordable and unique as Flo Lounge. With a prix fixe menu at $13 per person, open air and outdoor seating, and great food, brunch at Flo Lounge is definitely worthwhile.

The $13 per person rate includes a brunch cocktail (choose from sangria, mimosa, bellini, champagne, bloody mary, or freshly squeezed orange juice), coffee or tea, and choice of entree.

The brunch menu includes plenty of breakfast and lunch options, all unique. Breakfast items include twists on classic eggs benedict, interesting omelet combinations, and for those that have a sweet tooth, french toast with berries. The french toast sandwich is a popular item as is the farmer's breakfast, which is a scrambled egg dish that comes with with peppers, onions, bacon, potatoes and sausage. It's hearty and delicious.

The lunch options are just as varied as the breakfast ones. Choose from a variety of salads, burgers and sandwiches. The breakfast burger is a nice combination for those who can't decide between breakfast and lunch. They also offer items like grilled chicken teriyaki and a savory crepe which comes with brandied mushrooms, chicken, peppers, cheese and chipotle dressing.

Brunch is served on weekends and holidays from 10am to 4pm.
