When I was young I searched and searched for God in vain. I read all the books, but still was searching. A baby was born, I looked into his eyes; God’s eyes were reflected into mine. This is the essences of a poem written in the sixty’s. It is as true today as it was then.

When you read Kelle’s bloom you will feel this story unfolds into petals of heart break and joy as she becomes the mother of a Down Syndrome little girl, Nellie. The story is about the first year of Nellie’s life; there are ups and downs, but only for the mother as she comes to an understanding that Nellie is truly a gift from God.

This is a beautiful true story. If you have a child with Down Syndrome it may help you better understand if you don’t have one, than thank a parent for sharing their gift with you, because they are truly a gift.

Excellent reading,

Suz
