Book review of Caldecott winner Jon Klassen's 'This Is Not My Hat'

When one little fish steals a hat (and it's such a little hat, just right for his own head) from a very big sleeping fish, he readily admits that it isn't his. But having come to the natural conclusion that such a big fish has no practical use for a tiny hat, he feels justified. And anyway, the big fish probably won't wake up, probably won't notice it's gone, and probably won't know who took it, right?

Well, not really.

Follow little fish on his award winning adventure in "This Is Not My Hat," written and illustrated by the talented Jon Klassen, who is completely deserving of this year's Caldecott Medal. Look for it locally in the children's departments of the Gail Borden, Bartlett, Schaumburg, Poplar Creek, and Batavia libraries or find it online through Barnes & Noble or Amazon.
