Local poet and author, James Gordon, shares a heartwarming account of childhood memories of a little boy growing up in Chicago; in his book, Hi My Name is Bobo (A Weekend in the Life of a 5th Grader). The book illustrates universal themes of faith, family and friendship; infused with the culture of Chicago. If you grew up in Chicago in the '70s and '80s, the book is a trip down memory lane. For younger readers, it is a glimpse at a time when life was simpler; and teaches lessons that are difficult to learn in today's society.

James Gordon, also known as G.P.A. (Greatest Poet Alive), has written and published 4 books. In 2011, he received the Black Essence Award for Poetry and Charity.

Hi My Name is Bobo is an Amazon.com best seller. It is available at James Gordon's website and on Amazon.com.
