When you walk through the doors of the new Bonefish Grill in Rockville Center there is an "electricity in the air"; a youthful crowd, a very attractive dining room and and a very active and lively bar scene. Bonefish grill in a very short period of time has over 100 restaurants, both company owned and franchised in over 28 states. Bonefish has a lot to offer their customers: a fun and upbeat environment, good food, a wait staff that is anxious to please, and pricing that is affordable. Bonefish is a totally casual, suburban chic dining venue that goes out of their way to make your experience pleasurable

We took a pleasant short ride from the north shore to rockville centre on the south shore. Approaching the ultra modern looking restaurant you immediately know that this place likes to party! A rocking outdoor bar on the patio and an eclectic group of singles, couples, and seniors were gleefully enjoying themselves.

We were seated and it seemed like the wait staff was everywhere, as they immediately offered us rolls, water, and food.

We began our meal with an assortment of Bonefish appetizers recommended by Tara an upbeat and delightful manager and Amber our server who helped make this a really great dining experience.

We began our Neptunian feast with a series of signature starters:

Bang Bank Shrimp- Crispy shrimp tossed in a spicy sauce. This certainly started our meal off with a spicy and delicious Bang!

Mussels Josephine -Prince Edward Island supplies some of the world's finest mussels and this plate was no exception. It arrived in a broth of tomatoes, red onions, garlic, basin and lemon wine sauce.

Singapore Calamari- flash- fried with peppers, and sweet spicy asian sauce

Next up on our dining agenda was a sampling of salads:

We shared a classic Caesar Salad - with house made garlic croutons, made just the way we like it...creamy, with lots of parmesan cheese. We also shared the Bonefish House Salad: hearts of palm, kalamata olives, tomatoes, citrus herb vinaigrette.

Prior to our sampling some of Bonefish's famous fresh seafood entrees, we shared a sensational lobster grilled cheese sandwich, made with cheddar, smoked mozzarella, maine lobster chunks, with fresh greens and a cup of lobster bisque. A great new adaptation of America's favorite comfort food sandwich..Grilled cheese. Loved the lobster topping found the lobster bisque tasty but a little too thick for my taste.

It was now time to sample some of the Bonefish seafood dishes We shared:

Dynamite Salmon, and Tilapia each served with Garlic whipped potatoes, summer grilled corn on the cob and steamed asparagus. Both were beautifully served and plated and excellent.

We decided to make our own version of Surf and Turf and sampled a filet mignon center cut. Although it was good, the fish was far superior.

We ended our meal with tea and coffee and a wonderful slice of Key Lime Pie made with a toasted pecan crust.

Bonefish Grill is fun, frenetic, loud and enjoyable. Although brand new, the restaurant is well organized with lots of upbeat wait staff and management. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and considered that the restaurant was brand new, the service staff and food were commendable.
