Blue October performed at the House of Blues Orlando in Downtown Disney on September 7, 2013. Judging the line outside of the venue before the show one could tell that their longtime fans were still in love and quite a few news ones as well since their just recent album release titled “Sway" was just released at the end of August.
The lead singer, Justin Furstenfeld, shined a dark glow throughout the entire performance. His movement, facial expressions, and the transitioning from one song to another definitely told a story. It was a performance about love, pain, depression, falling apart, fear, and having no money. Their large fan base becomes obvious to the size because of most of their lyrics are similar to most people situations in the world today. Blue October immersed the entire venue with lyrics so touching that the dry lumps in ones’ throat were omnibus.
“Sway” is Blue October’s first album since 2011’s Billboard Top Ten debut of “Any Man In America. It was produced by Justin Furstenfeld and David Castell while the recording was done at Fire Station Studios in San Marcus, TX.
Blue October has sold more than four million albums and singles in the U.S. while producing six Top 40 singles. "Hate Me" and "Into the Ocean" tracks were certified platinum and they have sold-out tours from 2009 to 2012.
