This article is a review of the Magic Bullet, Baby Bullet, Party Bullet, and Nutri Bullet, which is not sponsored by any person or entity. All products were purchased by the author. You may ask, "what do kitchen appliances have to do with makeup or beauty." A lot! Beauty comes from within. That does not only apply to personality. It also applies to nutrition.
If you read "Drop it like it's hot," you will be up to speed with some of this author's healthy lifestyle choices, which assisted her with weight management. This brings us to here and now. While on a hiatus from the gym due to health reasons, alternate weight management methods have been employed. The Magic Bullet has been a wonderful product to blend protein mix and milk daily as this specific protein mix contains 100% multi-vitamins and no soy. Do you know how difficult it is to find no soy????
The Magic Bullet is great for blending protein mix, pancake mix, smoothies, and more. The cross blade attachment is the one used most. The milling blade is used more to chop or grind harder substances such as coffee beans and whip cream or eggs. This Bullet is used daily for simple things as previously described. This Bullet has a 250 watt motor.
The Baby Bullet comes equipped with a cross blade and a milling blade. The milling blade is used as described above. The cross blade is shaped a tad differently, and it is better to chop fresh garlic cloves and other substances of similar consistency. The cross blade in the Baby Bullet works a little better for this author on garlic cloves. This Bullet is used daily for making fresh marinade and cooking pastes. This Bullet has a 250 watt motor.
The Party Bullet is fun and comes with only one blade. This blade attachment, the Yuki blade, fits the Magic Bullet base and is great for ice cubes and is shaped differently than the cross blade that comes with the Magic Bullet. This Bullet is used daily for custom "mixology" (recipes will be posted soon) both virgin and of the alcohol variety. It can also be used to make snow cone and shaved ice type treats. This Bullet has a 250 watt motor.
The Nutri Bullet is a great tool for healthy drinks. Spinach?! Who wants that?! NOT I! Throw some spinach leaves, basil leaves, and fruits into the cup, then blend with the cross blade. This blade is shaped differently and is bigger. It is great for fine chopping of leafy greens kids do not typically like tasting. This Bullet also comes with a milling blade and has a 600 watt motor.
This author is a big fan and uses each Bullet daily. However, it must be noted that there is a flaw with their marketing scheme. First, you are enticed to purchase each product. Each product is said to be a super product that replaces several kitchen appliances. Second, it is very difficult to find replacement parts. The fatal flaw is that while any of the Bullets are supposed to be single replacements for multiple appliances, they sell different blades marketed with different bases.
This defeats the purpose of conserving space with a single appliance. It would behoove them to create different blade attachments that fit one multi-speed base (speeds ranging from 250 to 1000 watts for different things to be blended). Keep it simple. Juice extraction requires more watts. This author still has to have a separate juicer to juice oranges, grapes, and cucumbers to add to the leafy green mix in the Nutri Bullet.
