Catacombs Of The Black Vatican by Black Label Society

As many people have said as Zakk Wylde brings the metal to the people. It’s also the name of his book and it’s not just a gimmick or slogan, with the latest Black Label Society album he does just that. The newly released “Catacombs of the Black Vatican” is a hard rocking album of eleven songs ranging from the usual head banging BLS style songs such as “Believe” to slow mellow songs such as “Shades of Gray” and “Angel of Mercy”. The album is all you would expect from Black Label Society and shows the true range of Zakk Wylde’s talent with songs sounding as if they were influenced by the Allman Brothers, Thin Lizzy, and even Queen’s Brian May. The fans of Black Label Society call themselves a family and this album will definitely appeal to the entire family as well as any fans of hard rock and metal music. Powerful lyrics, great guitar playing by Zakk and the usual head banging rhythm by bassist John DeServio make this a great listen and a make the bands ninth studio album a sure fire hit.

For all things Zakk Wylde and Black Label Society please check out his official website, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Black Label Society will headline the Revolver Golden Gods Tour this year so check them out when they come to a city near you. Information on that tour can be found on the Ticketmaster website as well as on the artist performing on the tours websites.
