‘Being Human’ Syfy recap/review episode 3.2: (Dead) Girls Just Want To Have Fun (Photos)

Being Human, which aired January 21, 2013 on Syfy, has the roommates trying to figure out their place in the world.

Sally definitely loves the fact that she is alive and has her body back. She has a way about her that that allows Josh to bring her out in public, even though the witch cautioned against it. But Sally being Sally connects with an old friend from her former life. And she ends up killing him.

Josh is happily human, though it is still a struggle for him. It is a full moon, and ever since he killed Ray, he has always sat with Nora at the storage facility, not really wanting to go out under the full moon. He even has visions while hanging with Sally about turning in public.

Aidan is probably has the most issues. He is hungry, yet he can’t eat from a human or even a blood bag. If a human ever had the virus, then of course it will kill him. He is desperate and attempts to buy “clean” blood off the black market; however it is a scheme by the werewolves. Henry comes to Aidan’s rescues and introduces Aidan to his human “girlfriend” who has clean blood.

Poor Aidan! He can’t get a break. It has got to be especially frustrating because if any human had the virus, even if they were cured of it, apparently there are things in the blood that latches on the vampire DNS and kills them. In this season, all the big bad vampires are mainly dead or dying. And Aidan is a bite away from going all killer vamp on the human population even if it means dying in the process.

Sally is dead, and possibly a zombie, yet she is acting as if she never died. In fact her appetite is huge. One can chalk it up to being dead and finally able to eat, but I am going to stick with my zombie theory. As we know they too have huge appetites, mainly human flesh, and one that can never be fulfilled. The way Sally was eating reminded me that something isn’t quite right with her.

And of course she kills her old friend, not through any nefarious means but through kissing. Probably the fact that she touched him, I am thinking she took his life-force away, again making me think zombie. I am hoping this is explored more in the coming episodes.

Another solid episode. Sally and Aidan have some serious issues, while Josh will probably have his crazy coming soon. It is only a matter of time.

I give this episode a 5. I loved everything about it, and can’t wait for the next installment.
