Beehive Cheese has introduced BeeChive, a special St. Patrick’s Day cheese that, you guessed it, is green! BeeChive is the company’s flagship Promontory that’s been hand-rubbed with chives for a naturally green hue.
The result is a grassy, oniony, garlicy flavor that just screams spring. I’m thrilled that I got both the 6 oz. and 1 lb. sizes as I’ll be using this in cooking (tried it in a quiche yesterday) as well as just eating during March. The chives add a pronounced flavor that would even make this cheese stand out on an Easter brunch cheeseboard spread.
Like all Beehive cheeses, BeeChive is made from the milk of Jersey cows from Ogden’s Wadeland South Dairy. Wadeland’s Jersey cows graze on 350 acres near the Great Salt Lake.
BeeChive only available seasonally in 6 oz. or 1 lb. sizes. Get some now!
