Next to foundation, concealer is an important beauty product that many women should have in their collection. Concealer can be a lifesaver if you have pesky little imperfections on your face. Your concealer is meant to be your BFF.

After searching all over department and drug stores, the concealer being reviewed is the MAC Cosmetics Pro Longwear in NW20. This lightweight liquid concealer gives medium to full coverage if needed. The concealer, which is a natural matte finish, can also up to 15 hours.

My foundation shade in MAC Cosmetics is NW25 and many makeup artists will recommend going a shade lighter to cover up any dark circles and to brighten up the eye area a little bit. Not to mention if the same shade is chosen the consistency between the foundation and concealer will be thick, causing the under eye area to be even darker.

The product comes in a small bottle similar to how some of their foundations are packaged. This packaging is a little better and more convenient because the concealer can be pumped out onto the hand. Once the product is on your hand just grab your brush and apply the concealer under your eyes and blemishes. The only problem is that too much product could come out, causing a lot of product to be wasted.

If you’re looking for a liquid concealer that gives great coverage, lasts all day and can be purchased at an affordable price than this could be the best concealer for you.

Mac Pro Longwear concealer retails for $16.50 and can be purchased at Mac free standing stores, the MAC pro store on Armitage in Chicago and department stores like Macy's, Nordstrom and Bloomingdales in Chicago.
