Earlier, while stumbling through the cosmetics area at Target (pronounced Tar-jay by the elite of heart), I met a very lively and helpful woman named Barbara who introduced me to the fabulous No7 cosmetics and skin care line. So what was I doing in the cosmetic department? Looking for a lipstick instead of the lightly colored lip-glosses that I have been wearing for as long as I can remember. Why was there a beauty consultant in Target? Well, luckily for me, I ran into her at the right time because she does not work for Target. She works for the BOOTS brand that distributes the No7 cosmetics line.
After explaining what I was looking for, which was a lipstick that wouldn’t dry out and had the just right pop of color to match my skin tone, I was guided to and allowed to sample (hygienically, of course) a moisturizing lipstick that both looked and felt amazing.
I asked why I had never heard of this brand and as it turns out, it is very well-known in certain areas and it happens to be a staple in the UK. The brand does not do much advertising and depends on word of mouth to sell. This is refreshing because it shows that the customers appreciate the performance of the products and that the brand can be trusted. I also found out that in many regions throughout the U.S., No7 products sell out quickly because of the high demand for them.
This product line carries a wide variety of hypoallergenic make-up and skin care products that can be viewed on their website. “Be confident in your beauty” is a slogan of theirs that is sure to be ringing true with women everywhere that have given these products a try. Personally, I was shocked at how much more positive of an emphasis was placed on my face by the lipstick alone and it truly made me feel great.
If there is one line of products that all beauty lovers should try, it’s No7.
